Take an EV home through Yoogo Share Club
A newly launched Yoogo Share Club provides an after-hours subscription so that members can drive an EV home.
Yoogo Share says it’s the first EV service of its kind that it’s aware of.
Built on the principals of car sharing, cars are used during the day by business members who have replaced their fleet with Yoogo’s shared fleet – and after-hours club members have guaranteed access to a Yoogo Share EV every night and all weekend.
The after-hours service is available in Yoogo Share’s three Christchurch City locations and designed to save money for people who drive their own car to work and pay for parking in a CBD car park.
Yoogo Share looks after parking costs, maintenance, repairs, and insurance.
People have signed up who live outside the city and travel to the CBD for work, as well as people living in the city who do not own cars, the company says.
The initial offer is $99 a week, even if customers don’t need to use a car every night.
