Thirty EVs from 21 brands on show at free Christchurch expo

Thirty battery electric vehicles from 21 brands will be on display at the Take Charge Expo in Christchurch next month.

The free event runs at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre on Saturday 31 October from 10am to 5pm, with entry through the Cathedral Square entrance. Organiser Take Charge Events says the line-up covers a range of price points and vehicle types.

Brands confirmed for the show are Arcfox, BMW, BYD, Denza, Dongfeng, Farizon, Forthing, Geely, GWM, Honda, IM, Kia, Leapmotor, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Mini, Smart, Suzuki, Tesla, XPeng and Zeekr.

“The Take Charge Expo is free to attend to encourage anyone with an interest in battery electric vehicles to come along and see first-hand the range of technology on display and ask questions of the expert exhibitors,” says Take Charge Events director Kevin Crutchley.
