Tesla has expanded its Supercharger Network along the Sydney to Brisbane route with construction starting at Motto Farm in Heatherbrae and Macadamia Castle in Knockrow.

In addition, a newly announced connection between Melbourne and Adelaide has also been added, with construction soon beginning at the Victorian regional town of Wendouree near Ballarat.

This final stop will connect the east coast cities for the majority of owners, however Tesla plans to add one more Supercharger station to complete this route.

Meanwhile, work will also soon begin on the six-bay Supercharger station located at the Wendouree shopping centre, starting the connection between Melbourne and Adelaide.

The Tesla Supercharger can add up to 270 km of range in just 30 minutes of charging. Superchargers are designed for city to city travel, allowing owners to travel for about three hours, take a quick break, and get back on the road charged up.

Tesla Superchargers charge Model S in minutes instead of hours. Customers who have purchased and taken delivery of a Model S or Model X prior to April 2017 can charge for free for the life of the vehicle.
