Vector’s network update
Vector’s electric vehicle charging stations continue to be used regularly.
Since it began installing chargers in November 2015, it has served 32.76MWh of electricity, potentially saving as much as 43,543.74 kilograms of CO2 from being emitted into the atmosphere.

The busiest station for the week was Newmarket, with 114 charges; the average number of charging sessions recorded was 50.85; the average length of a charging session was 19.63 minutes; and the megawatt hours consumed were 1.150MWh.
The average electric car can drive 5,754km on every MWh of electricity served. And on average, a medium-sized petrol car emits 0.231kg of CO2 emissions per km.
