Z Energy switches on new fast-charging site in Hāwera

Z Energy has activated a new EV fast-charging site in Hāwera, boosting capacity for drivers heading into the busy summer travel season.

The Z Te Hāwera site features two 140kW fast chargers offering three CCS connectors and one CHAdeMO connector, catering to a wide range of electric vehicles.

“Whether you’re cruising to New Plymouth or chilling in Hāwera, we’ve got the charge you need. Plus, it’s the perfect spot to grab a great coffee or snack while you top up,” the company says.

The expansion is part of Z Energy’s ongoing rollout of nationwide charging infrastructure to support growing EV adoption.
