2 Cheap Cars offers EV vehicle subscription

2 Cheap Cars is offering an alternative to car buying, with vehicle subscription service Simplify.
For a fixed weekly subscription fee on either a three, six, or 12-month plan, you can “subscribe” to a 2 Cheap Cars vehicle via Simplify.
With Simplify, 2 Cheap Cars is focussing on the Nissan Leaf as it looks to develop its electric vehicle category.
“This step is hugely exciting and holds hands with a very modern mentality – ownership is a dissolving idea,” 2 Cheap Cars chief executive Dan Buckley says.
“There is a definitely trend towards experience over ownership in a multitude of industries, and we are excited to offer a new version of getting people in vehicles that holds hands with this emerging trend.”
2 Cheap Cars started with one yard eight years ago, and today has 15 branches New Zealand wide, totalling a little under 10% of all vehicle imported into New Zealand in 2019.
The Simplify and 2 Cheap Cars partnership is due to go live early this year.
