Tesla opens dealership in Adelaide
Tesla has launched a pop up store, which will showcase the Model X Tesla SUV, at the Myer Centre Adelaide, in Rundle Mall.
Adelaide was selected as Tesla’s next location due to the interest seen in South Australia since Model S launched in Australia in late 2014, and more recently with the launch of Model X into the market nationally.
The pop up store within Myer will showcase the Model X, with a design studio for a tactile exploration of materials used in the vehicles.

Test drives will be offered for Model S and Model X, which will be undertaken from the carpark of Myer Centre Adelaide. A Tesla Powerwall will also be on display in-store after its launch in market.
Additionally, the opening of the Ballarat Supercharger has initiated the development of the connection between Melbourne and Adelaide.
This along with destination charging sites across SA including luxury accommodation, The Frames and Burnside Village Shopping Centre, will further help Tesla attract future buyers.

Tesla is currently in the process of investigating locations for a service centre which will include a Tesla Store, along with sites for future Supercharger stations.
It is also looking to hire local technicians that can work across motoring and energy products and staff to educate the public on Tesla products.
