Leading the Charge continues north

Drivers on the Leading the Charge tour have been blessed with spectacular scenery on their drive through the Southern Alps and up the West Coast.

Tour member Martin Kane says they held a small event in Westport on their way north to Nelson.

He says hotels and motels with charging infrastructure were carefully selected before the drive, with a lack of charging infrastructure in the area.

“Westport is a quieter, small town with no fast chargers.”

Many people on the tour also took time out to attend Anzac Day services.

Today the tour is in Nelson, with a big event planned this afternoon.
