Autonomous golf cart takes executive to work

A driverless golf cart took Infosys chief executive officer Vishal Sikka to work on Friday in what may be a first.

The cart was built by the company’s Mysore-based engineers, The Indian Express reports.

Sharing the news on Twitter, Sikka praised the team for its passion, leadership and innovation. “Who says we can’t build transformative technologies?” Sikka tweeted.

Infosys on Friday reported a 1.4% increase in its first-quarter performance. The company is the second largest outsource of IT services in Asia.
