‘Tesla tidal wave’ as deliveries arrive

Hundreds of Tesla Model 3 EVs from China have landed in Auckland, New Zealand, and in Fremantle, Western Australia.

“Big Tesla month coming based on what’s coming off a vessel in Auckland!” Drive Electric chair Mark Gilbert noted on LinkedIn.

The arrivals via the Wallenius Wilhelmsen were tracked by VedaPrime which noted the 461 Fremantle arrivals will also see Tesla Perth using a much larger capacity delivery location this quarter.

The Australian Tesla arrivals were reported by the Driven.io and included a drone video by the Tesla Owners Club of Western Australia which described it as similar to a tsunami.
