FLE Volvo electric truck at Bombay Truck Show

The new Volvo electric truck, the FLE, is confirmed for the second Transfleet Trailers/Allied Petroleum Bombay Truck Show on Saturday January 21, says Volvo Trucks New Zealand.

“We will also have a mighty FM and FH on display, thanks to Fonterra, MJ Strong and Tranzcarr,” its Facebook post adds.

More than 400 trucks – including a few electric and hydrogen ones – are expected at the Bombay Rugby Club venue from 10am, with food trucks also available.

Prizegiving is at 3pm.

Entry to the charity fundraiser event is by gold coin with children’s rides free.

First held in 2020, the inaugural truck show attracted about 8000 people with 66 prizes awarded and about $68,000 raised for charity and local community organisations.
