BMW iX1 eDrive20 from $86,900

Pricing for the electric iX1 eDrive20 has been announced by BMW New Zealand, starting from $86,900.

The second model variant of the iX1 line-up – following the iX1 xDrive30 – becomes the most affordable fully electric BMW available in New Zealand and opens up locally emissions-free driving to a broader base of customers, the company says.

The new variant joining BMW New Zealand’s expanding fully electric line-up develops 150kW power and 247Nm torque, has 475km range (WLTP), and can accelerate from zero to 100km/h in 8.6 seconds, with a 170km/h electronically limited top speed.

Its 64.7kWh battery (usable energy) can be AC charged up to 22kW in 3.45 hours or DC charged to 130kW from 10-80% in 29 minutes.

A comprehensive range of standard equipment includes “QuickSelect” and BMW Operating System 9.

This new advanced platform enables a wider range of digital content for information and entertainment while providing faster update cycles for over-the-air functions, says BMW New Zealand.

The BMW Curved Display comprises a 10.25-inch information display and a control display.

The iX1 eDrive20 includes an array of luxury and convenience features as standard, a wide selection of paint finishes and three optional enhancement packages.
