Electro Mobility Summit and Expo a success

JAC Notors EV truck at Electro Mobility Summit and Expo 2024

Around 400 people attended the 2024 Electro Mobility Summit and Expo in Auckland on October 16-17.

The free-to-attend expo at the Auckland Showgrounds in Greenlane featured about 20 exhibits, including electric contracting equipment, electric trucks, the Nissan Ariya NZ spec display, EV charging stands, a Ford EV display, a JAC Motors electric light truck display, and more.

Cozens has recently launched an EV Mythbusters site, which provides crowd-sourced information on fears and facts about EV ownership.

Retyna managing director Liz Yeaman chaired both days of the ticketed Summit, which included speakers Ministry of Transport chief executive and transport secretary Audrey Sonerson, Drive Electric chair Kirsten Corson, ChargeNet chief executive Danusia Wypych, TransNet e-mobility division manager Glenn Inkster, an energy panel considering how New Zealand will power the EV transition, Delta Electronics EVCS business development manager Kal Gwalani, Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EECA) delivery and partnerships group manager Richard Briggs, Auckland Transport and Auckland Council representatives.
