More than 2000 check out Take Charge Expo’s BEV display
About 23 different battery electric vehicles (BEVs) featured in the 2024 Take Charge Expo on November 23 and 24.
They included the BMW iX1, BMW i5 Tourer, BYD Atto 3, BYD Seal, BYD Dolphin, Cupra Born, GWM Ora, Kia EV3, Kia EV5, Kia EV9, Mini Aceman, MG Cyberster, MG4, Nissan Ariya, Omoda E5 BX, Omoda E5 EX, Porsche Macan, Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model 3 Performance, Volkswagen ID.4, Volkswagen ID.5, Volvo EX30 and Volvo EX40.
The display at the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre attracted more than 2000 attendees, says Take Charge Events Limited director Kevin Crutchley.
“There was great feedback from the public, and the show gave them the opportunity to view a variety of different battery electric vehicle models covering a range of price points all under one roof.”
Crutchley says Take Charge Events Limited holds the free-to-attend Take Charge Expos to give the public the chance to see the BEV range available to make the switch from fossil-fuelled vehicles.
