Neuron launches seated e-scooter in Brisbane

The new “Seated N4” Neuron e-scooter has been unveiled in Brisbane.

More comfortable for longer rides, the Seated N4 is equipped with a padded seat and shortened handlebar stem for added comfort and ergonomics, and a lower centre of gravity, says Neuron.

The first of up to 500 launched in the city from May 27 are expected to appeal to a wider range of demographics, including those with reduced mobility.

The Seated N4 e-scooter shares many of the same features as Neuron’s flagship N4 model first launched on Brisbane’s streets in December 2023.

Neuron’s market research suggests the Seated N4 will attract more first-time riders.

“The city has always been at the forefront of embracing e-scooter innovations, making it the ideal location for our Australian launch of this model,” says Neuron Mobility Australia and New Zealand general manager Jayden Bryant.

“With 5% of our Australian riders identifying as having a disability or mobility impairment, we’re thrilled that more people from these groups will now have the opportunity to experience the benefits of Brisbane’s world-class rental e-scooter service.”
