Auckland eBike Expo has the works

The latest e-mobility technology and trends feature at the Auckland eBike Expo on November 15 and 16.
Test rides are also available at The Cloud, Queens Wharf, off Quay Street on Auckland’s waterfront, and you can get your own e-bike or e-scooter built or fitted for you.
Auckland Transport has a stand among some 20 displays there to help people discover more about cycling and scootering around Auckland
Other expo activities include a Share the Road Truck Blind Zone demonstration and some seminars on bike maintenance, keeping your bike secure and fixing a flat tyre.
Expo organiser Icon Conference and Event Management managing director Marleen Goedhart says electric bikes and e-scooters are among the lowest carbon emitting modes of transport and e-bikes especially allow people to exercise while enjoying the ride.
Ride on in and Bike Auckland will be there with valet bike parking at the front door to ensure your bike is looked after during your visit.
The first 500 people at the expo who take a photo of themselves in the Share the road Blindzone demo photo frame, share to social media and #AklBikeLife @ebikeexpo will get free entry.
There’s also a lucky drawn competition to win a Sinch Mode 2 e-bike valued at nearly $3600.
The eBike Expo is from 10.30am to 7pm Friday and 9am to 5pm Saturday.
