BMW NZ targets EV buyers with power pack offer
In addition to a complimentary Wallbox upon purchase of any fully electric BMW vehicle, the brand is now targeting potential iX3 or iX xDrive40 buyers with a new power pack offer.
When customers purchase a new BMW iX3 or iX xDrive40 and finance the vehicle through the BMW Full Circle plan, they will receive both a $1,500 contribution towards installation of the Wallbox, as well as a $5,000 trade-in bonus.
BMW New Zealand’s home charging solutions complement its efforts to the rollout of free fast charging across the country. Late last year it commenced a new partnership with EV charge point operator Jolt to expand the availability of charging points to drivers of electrified vehicles.
The initiatives come as BMW continues to grow its electrified vehicle footprint in Australia and New Zealand, both in the breadth of its line-ups and sales volume.
Earlier this year the brand introduced the fully electric BMW i7 to critical acclaim, while the first-ever iX1 has just gone on sale in New Zealand and is due for imminent launch in Australia.
Registrations of electrified BMW models in Australia between January and April were up 50% on last year, with fully electric BMW registrations more than double those of 2022.
In New Zealand, electrified model registrations were up 110% to the end of April.
