Bollinger pops the cork on electric SUV and ute

The four-door Bollinger B1 electric SUV and B2 electric ute have been revealed, with deliveries expected to start in 2021.
The all black vehicles both have about 320km range and 380kW dual electric motors powered by a 120kWh battery pack, able to reach about 160km/h.
While Bollinger says it has more than 30,000 reservations for its boxy off-roader, with B1 production likely to start next year, the US start-up still needs more money and a manufacturing partner, according to overseas reports.
The vehicles have 305mm of wheel travel and 470mm of ground clearance, expected to tackle most terrain types and making them suitable for farms, workplaces and the like.
Both will have similar specifications to the two-door versions, have a 2359kg payload capacity and a 3401kg towing ability. They also have a two-speed Hi/Lo gearbox.
Final pricing has yet to be announced.
