ChargeNet adds high-speed charging in Newmarket

Electric vehicle charging company ChargeNet has upgraded its Gillies Avenue site in Auckland’s Newmarket, adding a six-bay high-speed hub with 200kW and 150kW DC chargers.

“Our Gillies Avenue site just got a serious refresh with a 6-bay high-speed hub, hosting 200kW and 150kW chargers – meaning more EVs can power up, quicker than ever,” the company says.

The company highlighted the location beside the busy retail precinct.

“And the location? Could not be better. With Westfield Newmarket right across the road and Teed Street cafés just a hop, skip, and a jump away, charging comes with some decent built-in options…a peruse of the shops or a quick caffeine top-up.”

ChargeNet acknowledged partners Vector Limited and the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority (EECA) for helping deliver the project.
