COVID-19’s impact on EVs – webinar

The question of whether electric mobility will benefit post COVID-19 will be covered in a webinar on April 24, 1am New Zealand time.

The Nordic EV Summit is running a new series of webinars about the transition, with leading EV experts sharing insights on how the pandemic will impact transport electrification.

Bloomberg NEF advanced transport head Colin McKerracher and Clean Vehicles and Emobility Transport & Environment director Julia Poliscanova will discuss how EV sales will be affected and whether the crisis might soften Europe’s emission restrictions.

Polestar, for instance, started production and announced deliveries starting shortly of the Polestar 2, despite the pandemic.

The question they examine is ‘just how rough will the ride be for electric vehicles, and how is the situation different in China and Europe?’

The webinar will be hosted by Norwegian EV Association secretary general Christina Bu and TU.no chief executive Jan Moberg.
