‘Cybertruck’ reveal November 21

Elon-Musk

Tesla chief executive officer Elon Musk has announced Tesla’s “cybertruck” (ute) will be unveiled on November 21 near his other company SpaceX.

He’s invited Simone Giertz who said in June she got “tired of waiting for Tesla to release their pickup truck, so I made my own”.

Musk references the movie Blade Runner  – one his favourites and mentioned before in relation to the cybertruck’s design – in his tweet announcing the reveal.

The all-electric ute will be shown at Tesla’s design studio in Los Angeles, California, on the same site at SpaceX’s headquarters.Elon Musk Cyber truck unveil tweets

The reveal is close to but not part of the 2019 LA Auto Show on November 23 to December 2 at the LA Convention Centre around which a number of new EVs will debut.

Volkswagen, for example, will have its ID. Space Vizzion global premiere on the eve of the LA show, while Ford will reveal its Mustang-inspired electric SUV at the event.
