Etrucks secures Deepway distribution
Etrucks New Zealand has secured distribution rights for Chinese electric truck manufacturer Deepway and will launch what it claims is the country’s most affordable battery-electric semi-truck.
The Deepway Star, a fully electric 6×4 heavy-duty tractor unit, will make its debut at the EROAD Fleet Managers’ Day in Hamilton on Wednesday, July 30.
Etrucks director Ross Linton says he is “delighted” to bring the truck to the local market, where it will sell for $255,000 plus GST, with assistance from the Government’s Low Emissions Heavy Vehicle Fund (LEHVF).
