EV battery firm at Electrochemical Society event
Florida-based EV and storage battery firm Advanced Cell Engineering (ACE) is exhibiting at the Electrochemical Society at the Atlanta Hilton until October 13.
ACE is displaying and promoting its advanced LFP battery chemistry which it says offers significantly higher energy density (205Wh/kg in a cylindrical format) than many other LFP cells on the market, enabling greater EV range while maintaining high safety standards.
The company is also exhibiting its very large format (VLF) cell-to-pack prismatic cell which increases energy density even further while simplifying an EV’s battery pack and reducing manufacturing costs.
“ACE is excited to exhibit our advanced battery technology that provides automakers with the safe, affordable, high energy density cells they need to develop EVs that meet the needs of today’s drivers,” says ACE president Tim Poor.
ACE’s lead research scientist Dr Mani Manivannan is organising the A01 symposium (New Approaches and Advances in Electrochemical Energy Systems) at the conference and sits on the Electrochemical Society’s board.
The week-long 242nd ECS meeting is for industry professionals to experience learning, technical presentations, and networking, and opportunities to learn about innovations in the marketplace.
