Waiheke-EV-Fuso-eCanter

EVs and Beyond’s The EVent conference on Waiheke Island has been postponed due to COVID-19.

The March 1 and 2 conference cannot go ahead currently under level 3 restrictions, with a new set of dates to be announced within a few days.

Conference host Richard Edwards announced the postponement in an email to attendees on February 28.

“We have been forced, regrettably, to postpone the 2021 The EVent – EVs and Beyond Conference,” says Edwards.

“Our team will be working with key speakers and the venue to establish a new date for the event as soon as possible.”

“We did consider turning the conference into a digital-only event but feel the networking component was too valuable to give up.”

Key speakers at the event include UBCO NZ chief executive Timothy Allan, Climate Change Commission chair Rod Carr and ChargeNet chief executive Steve West.

Rally ace Hayden Paddon was set to be the speaker of the networking dinner.
