Everything Electric Sydney a month out, with 10-plus launches promised

Everything Electric Sydney returns to Sydney Showground from 18 to 20 September, with organisers promising more than 100 electric vehicle models, 7,500 test drives, and upwards of 10 launches at the opening morning’s media preview.

EVs and Beyond will be at the show, including the Friday media preview, where iCaur’s V25 makes its first public appearance in Australasia among the debuts.

The exhibitor list reads like a map of the brands reshaping this side of the world: BYD, Cadillac, Chery, Farizon, Forthing, Genesis, Geely, GAC, GWM, Hyundai, iCaur, IM, Lepas, MG, Omoda Jaecoo, Polestar, Subaru, Weichai and Zeekr are all confirmed, with organisers saying several brand new launches will be unveiled at the show.

Organisers expect more than 40,000 visitors across the three days. Last year’s Sydney event drew 31,069, with the 2025 Sydney and Melbourne shows combining for more than 50,000. The timing lands in a record Australian market: 127,244 battery electric vehicles had been sold there by the end of July, 17.3% of the market and already ahead of 2025’s full-year total of 103,269.

“Australia’s transition to electric is accelerating rapidly; EV sales have already surpassed 2025 figures and more than half a million home batteries have been installed in the past year,” says Everything Electric global chief executive Dan Caesar, who will attend the Sydney event.

The test drive programme covers more than 100 vehicles under one roof, from cars and utes to motorcycles, e-bikes and commercial vehicles, with a micro-mobility track for e-bikes, scooters and skateboards. More than 40 expert sessions run across two theatres, on subjects from buying a first EV to vehicle-to-grid and urban charging without a driveway, while the home energy section spans solar, batteries, smart meters and free one-on-one consultations.

Created by the team behind the Fully Charged Show, the event runs 10am to 5pm Friday and Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday. Tickets start at $40 for single days, with Sunday half price at $20, from the Everything Electric website.
