EVs to dominate Auto China show
Chery, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche will be among automotive brands showcasing new EVs at the Auto China show (aka 2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition) from April 25 to May 4.
“New Era, New Cars” and “New Eco” are the show themes with Chery also hosting its annual Global Dealer Conference there.
A “future mobility” section showcases autonomous vehicles (AVs) and related technology.
Nissan expects to have its “Hyper Force” EV and ABB FIA Formula E Gen3 race car there, while Mercedes-Benz plans on displaying its electric G-Class and AMG GT 63 SE Performance, and Porsche its electric Maycan.
Chery says it aligns its product development with cutting-edge internet and smart car advancements, advancing EV growth, interconnected systems, and intelligent shared transportation platforms.
“With features such as streamlined reservations, guided pickups, immersive driving experiences, hassle-free returns, as well as seamless payment and sharing options, ‘Smart Chery’ is shaping the future of travel experiences for consumers,” it says.
EV charging equipment will also be on display.
