Fisker to produce electric ute 2025
The Fisker Alaska electric ute is set to launch in 2025 and cost about NZ$74,000 (US$45,000).
It’s expected to start production early that year and feature alongside the Fisker Ronin super saloon, Fisker Pear hatchback and recently launched Fisker Ocean SUV, says Move Electric.
The Alaska will come with a 75kWh battery providing an estimated 370km range, while a larger 113kWh battery is expected to give 547km range.
Fisker hasn’t yet indicated the ute’s power output, although Move Electric reckons it will have electric motors from the Ocean SUV expected to range from 205kW to 420kW.
It adds the ute’s 1.37-metre cargo bed can be extended to 2.28m and 2.8m.
“The Alaska also features what the firm calls a ‘Houdini’ cargo bed partition behind the rear seats that can be lowered electronically to create more space.”
