Five electrified cars in two years: Skoda
Skoda has confirmed it will launch five electrified cars by the end of 2020.
The car maker had previously announced six electrics and four plug-in hybrids by 2025, but Skoda chief executive officer Bernhard Maier has just confirmed two electrics and three hybrids within two years.

A plug-in version of the Superb will be ready in 2019, followed the next year by an all-electric Vision E – based on Volkswagen Group’s electric MEB platform.
Two unconfirmed electrified models are then due, predicted by some overseas media to be the plug-in hybrid versions of the Octavia and Kodiaq.
Other models are likely over the next decade.
Skoda has yet to determine whether it will have a new sub-brand name for its electric or electrified models.
