Fuso displays next generation eCanter with roll-off tipper

Daimler Truck has presented its next generation Fuso eCanter with a roll-off tipper for the first time to customers in Europe. 

The new generation all-electric eCanter was unveiled in September and promises an expanded lineup of applications plus a new modular battery concept offering different driving ranges. 

The truck was shown to guests at the Bauma construction industry trade fair held last month in Munich, Germany. 

Fuso Europe sales, marketing and customer service head Philipp Panter says the next generation eCanter has many advantages for the construction industry. 

The 8.5-tonne eCanter exhibited at the event has a chassis load capacity of five tonnes and a payload of 3.5 tonnes. It has a comfort single cab (three seats) and has a wheelbase of 3,400mm and has a reported range of up to 140 kilometres.
