Gisborne Caltex gets Plug and Save EV fast charger

The Gisborne Caltex Gladstone Road station has joined the Plug and Save EV fast charging network.

The 160KW output EV charging station which customers can pay for via payWave compatible EFTPOS debit or credit cards, with no need for an account, app or charging fob, allows for EV charging to be paid for in the same manner as any other fuel or grocery purchase, says Caltex.

Since acquiring the business at 401 Gladstone Road about five years ago, station owner Virinder Kumar has ensured the business keeps up with modern customer demands and offering a wide range of services, including the Plug and Save EV fast charger, as an increasing number of EVs come into the region

The Gisborne Caltex Gladstone Road station also offers a Softwash carwash, trailer hire, and clean, modern facilities including a range of snacks, sandwiches, pies and coffee.

Plug and Save’s fast chargers feature smart technology that eliminates the need for high-cost installation infrastructure and provide a simple charging process.
