The EVworld NZ 2019 Fleet Champion of the Year, NZ Post says EVs are a crucial part of achieving its ambitious carbon reduction goals, aiming to have 100% of its owned vehicles electric by 2025.

It has been piloting 16 electric vans and cars plus installing the charging infrastructure for them, with Energy and Efficiency Conservation Authority (EECA) support, and planning a broader roll-out in 2020.

NZ Post’s owned delivery fleet includes more than 400 Paxters and it is also working with delivery partners to help them understand EVs’ benefits, using five EV vans to assess their suitability for the courier fleet.
