Jeep Wagoneer S BEV NZ winter test

Jeep’s first global battery electric vehicle (BEV), the 2024 Wagoneer S, is undergoing winter testing in New Zealand, Stellantis India and Asia Pacific says in a LinkedIn post.

It’s presumably being tested at the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds in Cardrona near Queenstown in the South Island, but the post isn’t specific.

Stellantis does say the Jeep Wagoneer S BEV will be launched in the US first, followed by Canada then the rest of the world by 2025.

It was introduced earlier this year, as reported by EVs and Beyond, has an estimated 482.8km range, aerodynamic design, Selec-Terrain traction management, and the latest technology.
