Cybertruck gets fans’ thumbs-up in winter tests

Tesla’s Cybertruck has received fan endorsement during winter testing at the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds near Queenstown.

It has featured in several videos driving on snow and icy road surfaces with videos shared by CybertruckNZ on Twitter.

The videos include the Cybertruck accelerating on snow and cornering with rear-wheel steering helping keep it stable.

 “Truck looks very stable and the wiggle test looks very much in control…”, was one response, while another describes it as “stable” in spite of apparent efforts to get it to slip.

Cybertruck winter testing in New Zealand has been followed by EVs and Beyond.

The Cybertruck is expected to be ready for deliveries starting late this year and reportedly has more than one million customer reservations.
