Leapmotor B10 EV’s global debut

Leapmotor B10 Paris Motor Show

Leapmotor’s B10 debuted the brand’s first global C-SUV at the Paris Motor Show (October 14-20).

The B10, the first of many upcoming models as part of Leapmotor’s B-series, is built on the Leap 3.5 architecture, featuring advanced smart technologies, ADAS systems, and customisable digital cockpit.

The debut highlights Leapmotor’s rapid growth in Europe, with more than 200 dealers across 13 markets, aiming to reach 500 sales points by 2025.

In partnership with Stellantis, Leapmotor leverages a strong global service network and is expand its presence in key global markets.

“The B10 embodies our vision for an electric future – offering not only superior performance and smart connectivity, but also making that future accessible to consumers worldwide,” says Leapmotor founder Zhu Jiangming.

Stellantis has a global portfolio at the Paris Motor Show 2024 (Mondial de l’Auto), also showcasing high-tech battery electric vehicles (BEVs) from Citroen, Peugeot and Alfa Romeo.

“In spite of the headwinds around the world, consumers continue to select brands with environmentally friendly vehicles that deliver performance, style and stellar driving experiences,” says Stellantis chief executive Carlos Tavares.

Stellantis manufactures 12 BEVs in five assembly plants across France, supported by seven components plants.

Product announcements at this year’s show include the world premiere of the Peugeot E-408, expanding the brand’s BEV lineup to 12 vehicles.

Show visitors can also see the long-range versions of the Peugeot E-3008 (700km) and Peugeot E-5008 (668km) SUVs available for order.

Citroen debuts its C4 and C4 X vehicles at the show – both available in all-electric -along with a concept announcing the new C5 Aircross. The brand also celebrates four years of the Ami micromobility vehicle showing the new Ami, an adventurer Buggy Vision and a tower display.

Alfa Romeo stages the world debut of the compact sport Junior Ibrida, that, together with the Elettrica, available in two power variants, completes a wide commercial offer. The debut is a highlight among the display of Alfa Romeo’s entire vehicle lineup that includes the premiere of the 2025 Tonale.

Leapmotor’s display includes the T03 a compact A-segment urban EV with B-segment interior space, the C10 electric D-SUV designed for modern, tech-savvy consumers – both available for ordering from select Stellantis dealers in Europe -and the C16 SUV, which features 800-volt architecture and fast recharging capabilities.

Tavares will also discuss meeting the challenges of delivering clean, safe and affordable mobility at the Paris Automotive Summit on Tuesday, October 15 – livestreamed on the PFA’s YouTube and LinkedIn channels.

Stellantis intends offering more than 75 BEVs and to reach global annual BEV sales of five million vehicles by 2030.
