EECA funding deadline extended
The application deadline for Round 9 of the low emission vehicles contestable fund (LEVCF) has been extended to September 14.
It was scheduled to finish on September 2, but fund administrator the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) says it expects the extension will give people a “bit of breathing space” due to COVID-19 restrictions – especially those in Auckland under alert level 3.
However, EECA suggests if anyone has an application ready they are welcome to send it in as soon as possible.
Energy and resources minister Dr Megan Woods is meanwhile expected to announce Round 8 successful applicants shortly.
A date has yet to be set with the COVID-19 situation also causing some delays there.
EVs and Beyond covered the opening of Round 9 earlier this month.
