Mercedes-Benz eActros officially launches here

The first Mercedes-Benz medium-duty electric truck, the eActros 300, has been officially launched following extensive local testing, with NZ Post adding the first unit to its fleet.

The 19-tonne GVM model arrived into the country last year and covered 4000km of testing on New Zealand roads.

With more than 300km range, the eActros 300 is “perfectly suited” to medium-duty metro and inter-regional work, says Keith Andrews product planning manager Matt Gillatt.
