Dynamic styling is revealed in MG’s Cyberstar electric roadster to be unveiled on March 31.

New images of the two-seater have been released by MG on social media follow parent company SAIC’s London-based design studio issuing some last year.

The new teaser images provide a look at some of the sports car’s design elements such as a low nose and long bonnet, including a sectioned-off interior dividing the driver and passenger, Auto Express UK reports.

“The heavily sculpted steering wheel features an illuminated badge with a pair of rotary knobs to potentially control driving functions. Behind the chopped-down wheel sits a digital display showing the Cyberstar’s speed, probably alongside other driving data.”

The Cyberstar is estimated to have about 800km range and to get to nearly 100km/h in about three seconds.

MG ZS EV SUV was the brand’s first all-electric offering, with the facelifted MG 5 following.

The Cyberstar will use a completely different drivetrain though, likely to use a modular EV platform developed by SAIC, Auto Express UK says.

The roadster will have tonnes of tech, potentially offering 5G-connectivity and more advanced semi-autonomous driving features.
