Mitch Evans third in Jakarta ABB FE second round

Kiwi Jaguar TCS Racing driver Mitch Evans got third in the second Indonesian double-header at the ABB FIA Formula E event in Jakarta on June 4 after failing to finish a day earlier.

The podium keeps Evans’ title hopes alive, putting him in fourth with five races to go – 25 points behind leader Pascal Wehrlein from the Tag Heuer Porsche FE team.

Evans couldn’t emulate last year’s feat where he won the inaugural Jakarta E-Prix.

He’s now heading to Portland, Oregon, for the next event on June 24.

The Portland race is followed by double-headers in Rome (July 15 and 16) and London (July 29 and 30).
