Musk pushes Hyperloop technology

Tesla founder Elon Musk is promoting the Hyperloop project via Twitter.
The technology see pods propelled by magnets or air expelled from the vessels themselves, with the tubes suspended off the ground, The Sun.co.uk reports.
The video tweeted by Musk shows a test pod travelling at 200mph.
Musk was behind the initial idea, but is not involved in the two companies currently working on the technology.
Hyperloop One, previously known as Hyperloop Technologies, completed the first public test of the propulsion system in May 2016.
David Harrison, president of the think tank Policy North, told The Sun
the technology could make jobs in London accessible for those living hundreds of kilometres away, with the trip between Manchester and London expected to take just 18 minutes.Dubai and Slovakia are also reportedly interested in the technology
