The new plug-in hybrid (PHEV) Mini Cooper SE Countryman ALL4 has an enhanced electric range of 55 to 61km compared with its previous 40km.

Due to arrive in Australia and New Zealand near the end of this year, the latest Countryman features aesthetic updates, mechanical upgrades and connectivity improvements.

Designed for the premium compact SUV segment, the Countryman has as standard (depending on the model variant) 16-inch or 17-inch light alloy wheels, with up to 19 inches available as optional extras and as part of the Original Mini Accessories programme.

The PHEV has a high-voltage lithium-ion battery with a gross energy content of 9.6kWh, sporting a 3-cylinder petrol and HV Electric motors.
