Northern Pathway feedback closes April 12

The Northern Pathway project to provide a seamless walking and cycling (including e-bikes) connection between central Auckland and Albany on the North Shore is progressing despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are continuing to progress this project as infrastructure will play a critical role in the economic recovery of New Zealand,” says the NZ Transport Agency, seeking online public feedback on the pathway by April 12.
The NZTA wants feedback specifically on several aspects of the pathway section from Westhaven to Akoranga.
The project team will be available to discuss queries through the NZTA’s project webpage or email.
It will produce an engagement report so people can see how the feedback is considered in its plans.
