Peugeot e-208 top-selling new EV in July
Peugeot’s E-208 was the top selling new EV model in New Zealand last month, with the Polestar 2 and Kia EV6 second and third respectively.
“We’re thrilled to see the e-208 top the sales list in July,” says Peugeot marketing manager Noah Robertson.
“It’s clearly an outstanding car having won the 2021 Car of the Year award for the Clean & Green BEV category. Kudos to our dealer network for getting this model in front of Kiwis – and perhaps our other more well-known competitors – as they look to enter the EV market.”

The Peugeot e-208 with 382km range is available from $63,990 plus on-road costs, with its Clean Car Discount rebate eligibility of $8625 taking the net price to $55,365.

Peugeot also featured in the top 10 best-selling brands in New Zealand this year, for the first time in more than 15 years.
