Thailand’s second-largest electricity generating company Energy Absolute is also building EVs, batteries and charging stations.

The renewable energy firm’s founder and chief executive officer Somphote Ahunai expects to use Government incentives to get 5000 EVs on the road by 2020, supported by more than 700 charging stations and a planned US$3 billion factory for lithium-ion batteries.
