Range Rover Sport Electric breaks cover at Goodwood

Land Rover has unveiled the Range Rover Sport Electric at a private event held during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, marking the model’s public debut ahead of a full technical reveal expected later in 2026.

The electric vehicle (EV) follows a similar approach to the larger Range Rover Electric, retaining the Sport’s existing exterior design while adopting an entirely new powertrain. Land Rover has not yet released any official specifications for the model.

Powertrain details remain under wraps

Despite the full visual reveal at Goodwood, Land Rover has withheld powertrain information, saying further details will be disclosed later in the year. Industry reports suggest the Range Rover Sport Electric will share its electric drivetrain with the larger Range Rover Electric, which uses a 118.5kWh battery pack.

If that proves accurate, the Sport Electric could offer a range of more than 600km on a single charge, a figure that would place it among the longer-range electric SUVs in its segment.

The model is also expected to feature a dual-motor configuration producing around 400kW and 850Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100km/h time of approximately 4.4 seconds and a top speed of around 210km/h.
