Renault debuts updated Zoe EV
Renault has announced an updated version of its Zoe EV.
The new Zoe has increased power and range, offering fast DC charging and more seating.
Described as a “milestone in terms of design,” the Zoe has more distinct characteristics that make the car stand out on the road. The interior’s quality, comfort and ergonomics were given attention by Renault’s designers too.
Zoe’s launch is a milestone in the group’s strategy for large-scale electric vehicle development.
“New Zoe has a unique advantage; it is the third generation of a vehicle already considered a standard setter,” Renault electric vehicle program director Eric Feunteun says.
“We have used our experience in the electric mobility market to modernise all the services and technologies that were already held in high esteem by drivers.”
The new Zoe has a Z.E. 50 battery and has a range up to 390km. Other driving pleasures include a more powerful 100kW motor and a new mode adapted to urban driving – allowing brake pedal reduced use and other driving aids designed for comfort and safety.
“Dynamic and precise, the design of new Zoe emphasises the vehicle’s performance and its high-tech equipment, all dedicated to the user experience,” Renault electric vehicle design director Agneta Dahlgren says.
The Zoe responds to the Renault easy link multimedia system and the My Renault app.
