Renault hydrogen concept car unveiled May
Renault has released a teaser picture of its hydrogen-powered concept car to be revealed in May this year.
“This unprecedented concept car, with a hydrogen engine, embodies the decarbonisation trajectory of the (Renault) Group and the Renault brand as well as their progress in terms of circular economy, recycled and recyclable materials,” the brand says.
Designed under Renault design director Gilles Vidal, this concept car is part of the company’s recently announced objective of achieving a 100% electric energy mix by 2030.
It adds the concept car builds on Renault’s environment, safety and inclusion as part of its sustainable development strategy.
On-board technological innovations serve the safety of the driver and users, Renault explains.
“Inclusion is present through the diversity of the teams and the accessibility of the vehicle.”
