Movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger has enhanced his green credentials by joining forces with electric battery maker Kreisel.
The Austrian company has transformed the former Californian governor’s Mercedes G-Wagon into an electric car.

Schwarzenegger says he is excited by the car offering a “zero pollution” option, compared with the gasoline alternative.

After its upgrade, Kreisel says the car can now reach a maximum speed of 183 km/h, and get to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds.
Schwarzenegger initially showed off the car in Austrian mountain town Kitzbuhel.
But Kreisel says there are also plans for him to drive the prototype in Los Angeles.
