The annual T-Tech 2020 conference in May has been cancelled in the wake of government Covid-19 looming level four restrictions.

“The ITS NZ board and T-Tech programme committee made the difficult decision to cancel the T-Tech 2020 conference,” ITS NZ executive officer Simon McManus says.

“We considered alternatives, but government decisions have usurped any announcements we had hoped to make and finally dictated that no physical event could take place and our venue Te Papa (Wellington) has closed to the public.

McManus says the Covid-19 pandemic is of grave concern to everyone, and with safety foremost ITS NZ will be suspending all physical face-to-face events while monitoring the situation.

Online presentations and webinars will be held instead.
