Tesla ATV due same time as Cybertruck

An all-terrain vehicle (ATV) Tesla featured at the launch of its Cybertruck ute is expected from late 2021.

Tesla chief executive officer Elon Musk confirms the ATV is likely to come out at about the same time as the Cybertruck which will have dual-motor and tri-motor variants in production about late 2021 with a single-motor rear-wheel drive model out a year later.

Musk announced the ATV update in response to a query from the Tesla Owners Silicon Valley’s Twitter account.

He says the ATV will be a two-seater which can be charged from the Cybertruck’s “vault” and that the ATV will be an option for customers pre-ordering the Cybertruck.

Further details about the ATV have yet to be revealed, Teslarati reports.

While Musk tweeted electric dirt bikes would be “cool too”, he says Tesla won’t do road bikes as he was nearly killed on one when he was 17.
