Tesla EV charging 1950s-style LA diner nearly ready

Tesla’s V4 supercharging station at a1950s-style drive-in movie theatre and diner is nearing completion in Los Angeles.

It’s expected to open on Santa Monica Boulevard around Christmas 2024 or early 2025 with nearly 30 supercharging stalls, and two movie screens in an ‘old-school drive-in’ Tesla chief executive Elon Musk mentioned seven years ago.

The diner is planned in a two-storey building and Tesla is already hiring staff for it.

EV drivers are likely to get a meal while waiting for their EV to recharge and catch a movie at the 24-hour station.
